ALN Team Spotlight | LeAnne Smith | Long Term Care Leader

We’d like to introduce you to LeAnne Smith, a key member of the ALN Consulting team. LeAnne brings over 20 years of expertise to a team that boasts more than 127 collective years of medical and legal nurse consulting experience.  This experience is used every day and gives our consultants the ability to measure and evaluate high level issues.

Smith is a registered nurse (RN) who has practiced in the state of Tennessee since 1994 specializing in critical care, medical-surgical nursing and dialysis.  Prior to ALN consulting, Smith worked for a number of long-term care and home health facilities, serving in the roles of Performance Improvement Director, Regional Staff Development Coordinator and Case Manager.  Smith achieved the Legal Nurse Consultant Certified credential in 2011, the only legal nurse certification recognized by the American Board of Nursing Specialties.

Smith has been a member of the ALN Consulting team since 2007; her focus is on the evaluation of long-term care and medical practice cases.  Currently, Smith serves as an ALN Consulting Long Term Care Team Leader and mentor.  She assists in the onboarding and training of new consultants in the expertise of Long-Term Care case development.
